About flying after surgery
Public-health travel guidance advises avoiding commercial air travel during the first 10 days after abdominal surgery. This is general guidance, not a fixed timeline: your treating physician will consider your individual clinical situation and complication risks before clearing you to fly. We do not guarantee a set number of days before your return flight.
